White and green wedding

Another wonderful wedding day is about to commence. Beautiful brides starting their day with nerves in their belly and people hurrying about them with makeup, shoes, dresses.... a beautiful scene of organised chaos.

The wedding for this Sunday is a wonderfully simple wedding. The Bride found a picture from the million available on the internet and decided this was the one she wanted. White elite tulips with green tips... ranunculus in white full and soft, white iceberg roses striking throughout and no foliage to be seen.. just crisp, white and clean.  I had a spot of trouble sourcing these flowers. The flower world doesnt always have what we need when we want it... tulips in white were difficult to get and ranunculus were not available at all much to my disappointment however a little flower called chincheree were about so I grabbed those thinking the little flowers would make a statement with their green tips. Crisp carnations in pure white also struck my attention so I grabbed those. I am sure this BQ will shine in the photos!

All my brides receive a free BQ to throw during the ceremony. Its sort of a gift from me saying congratulations, now celebrate the love and share these flowers.
The throw BQ is filled with white snow down disbuds - a mothers day flower and in abundance at this time of the year. Along with another sweet flower called alstroemeria with has little brown dots through the flower and a lime green colour to its greenery... perfect for this wedding.

Reception is at a jazz club... doesnt that sound like fun! I thought white gerberas with green centres would look fantastic in this setting. The fun shape of a gerbera, so big and round would stand proud in a fun environment such as this. They will sit into fish bowls and have lights coming through from below jelly balls. The Bride did well to plan her look... I just provided the flowers :)

Photos will be added soon.... watch this space!
