a bit of a break

Its been a lot of fun, I have learnt a great deal and have been so lucky to work with amazing brides that appreciate flowers as much as I do

I had my last wedding for the season this weekend. Although I have a few weddings over the next six months I will certainly have too much time between weddings and so will miss creating bqs that are soft and scented and seeing the brides faces light up when I deliver the flowers to them. 

My passion for wedding flowers has certainly grown over the last three months of creating the weddings I have had. I feel very thankful that I was chosen to create their flowers and by doing so they have given me a head start into starting my own business.

As some of you may know I am not yet married and I have felt a little weary launching into wedding flowers solo as I haven't yet experienced all the stress and planning that the bride goes through to create her " dream " day. Over the last three months I feel like I have learnt so much about the wedding world and most importantly the real value of what a wedding is about. I have seen brides be excited to being really nervous and very stressed out to completely relaxed as all that matters on the day is how much you want to stand by your partner and celebrate your love with everyone. 

The flowers are important too ... he he he
